CLIMATE CHANGE

Climate change is caused by factors that include oceanic processes (such as oceanic circulation), variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics and volcanic eruptions, and human-induced alterations of the natural world; these latter effects are currently causing global warming, and "climate change" is often used to describe human-specific impacts.

The dynamic interaction between humans and climate is not new, but the scale of the interaction has reached unprecedented proportions.

MY REFLECTION

Have I explored what made my experience significant for this second quarter? Are there any knowledge that have left out any critical information in my mind?

Well, second quarter is already finished. As the time pass by, I've never thought time runs so rapidly. In second quarter we do a lot of activities regarding on how we work an exercises in the notepad. In the beginning it is very easy for me but in the end it becomes a difficult one. We had also discussed about tag attributes and many more.

Our activities was very enjoyable and wonderful and it felt like an adventure but still i want to go deeper and learn many more...

Scientricity:Energizing Science Clubbers for Sustainable Energy

Sustainability in today's generation is a keyword for all aspects of our lives like in agriculture, power and also in technology.
Sustainability? Well, from the word itself sustainable means keeping alive, sustain or maintain it as much as possible. Energy is not always refer to strength or vigor but in the sense of science, energy is related to some fields like in technology. From the word scientricity we could easily sense that "Science and Electricity" is being combined. Through the field of science some experts have discovered electricity. Yes, electricity is extremely important because it is being used in our everyday life. many gadgets and appliances can'[t work or even used without the presence of electricity. In medicine or medical treatment also electricity has a vital role because these can never be used with the absence of electricity. For tht we can say that we can't surviv e or live long without this and it is true right?
As a science clubber I can do so much things in a simple way by means of education. When we are all well-educated there we could have a lot of knowledge in keeping energy alive. As a science clubber we will lead others in sust6aining and giving importance of it instead of wasting it. We will teach them how to use it wisely so that we can save energy in the best way we can also for us to continue the cycle of electricity, to avoid lacking of it.SAVE ENERGY FOR A BETTER COUNTRY!!!

MY TEACHER, MY HERO!!!

They say, ”Teaching is the noblest profession.” As a matter of fact there’s no other profession if there’s no teachers. Teaching is a tough job but for them t is not just a job it is more than what we are thinking of.

Teachers play an important role in our society. They serve as the prime mover of the educational wheel. Teachers are more than any other professional. We might judge them sometimes a strict one and it is true right? Teacher’s personality is natural and genuine. They are models of values. Teachers have also sense of humor which connects to us students and sometimes we noticed that we laugh together.

Teacher’s day celebration was made for teachers to rest. I mean, rest from their usual work or teaching because it was not actually a rest, it is only temporary. Greetings and gifts are usually what we are giving. Anyway, what’s important is how we make them feel special on their very special day by giving some balloons, apples, cakes or chocolate cakes and greeting cards as a sign of appreciation for their noble service. I know that those are not enough but at least we can ease their hardships and sacrifices. Teachers you deserve to regard as our heroes. VIVA!!! Beloved mothers and fathers in high school…VIVA!!1 our heroes ...

My Modern Hero

One of the biggest reason why I'm here, standing from my own is because of an important person in my life- My mother.

My life is much better than before when my mother is still beside me. that is what I really thinking of every single minute. Before, when she is still around, I could see her cooking, washing, cleaning all by herself she always work. She doesn't want to move forward if she hadn't yet finished and that's all reminds me if I'm about to work something. She work abroad for us not to suffer difficulties. So us to be well-educated and to provide all the things we need. She forced to work because our family become bigger and our necessities is becoming bigger too. As she always says that even though she really misses us she still working hard. My mother isn't really perfect but in times of struggles in my life she's there always encouraging and giving her fruitful advice. There I could sense her sinceerity and deep concern with us.

For me, she's my hero because even she has no ability of having super powers she is still strong enough to protect me from bad persons. Furthermore, the best thing I really like to her is her attitudes and values, her principles and that's all made her uniquely different from many superheroes. MAMA YOU,RE NO. 1. YOU'RE THE MOTHER IN THE WORLD. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!(heart3x)

"Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino".

As our nation continues to change, we will interact with others from quite different backgrounds from our own and still there is some who doesn't want to be influenced by others or adopt a new face of world. In our country we have so many social groups here, they are what we call the indigenous people. Usually they are living in remote areas of our country like in mountains. In spite of that they are still same of us because they are also Filipinos but in terms of cultures we have so many differences like in behavior, speech, clothing, food and belief.

We are celebrating the "Buwan ng Wika" this month of August and the theme for this time is Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino",and as always it centralizes our wika so called  language. We are living in one country but we have almost a hundred of language to communicate with one another. Philippines our country today is growing a number of characteristics of contacts between people with different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. For that, it may cause a possible misunderstandings and breakdowns. Furthermore, it i also used in social discussions and through this we can express our personal feelings and thoughts.

Language also play an important role in our in our lives. I therefore considered that language as the best formula to unite people not only on a single village but also inside our country and all over abroad. Through language also, there we couldn't avoid to manipulate malicious interpretations. Therefore, its better for us if everyone would speak the same language. A man's language is a reflection of the kind of a person he is, and a country he came from right? Then, let be proud of where we came from. Love and respect our Wikang Filipino as we love and respect ourselves . Mabuhay ang Wikang Filipino!

Letter to the President

President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III
Manila,NCR
Philippines

Dear Mr. President,
At the outset may I greet you Good Day and I hope you are in a good condition.I write to express my deep concern about the K-12 curriculum. It is already started from the beginning of this school year 2012-2013.New Education System is proposed, but many queries arise because of the new system.Students, parents, and even educators doubt the effectiveness of the K-12.All students are required to enroll on a kindergarten first, before advancing into elementary. The current 4 years of secondary level was changed into 6 years. No doubt that the improving the way of how Filipinos are educated is the goal of K-12.Unfortunately,we do not have such;indeed we lack some of the basic necessities of education like classrooms, books, chairs, and teachers. With no teacher to teach,no book to read,no chair to sit into, learning a lesson would be hard and impossible. So its better to provide more classrooms, teachers, books, chairs and also decrease tuition fees.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request.I look forward to your prompt response.

Sincerely yours,
Maribel P. Alegre
